I’m Stephanie!
I'm a visual artist who fell in love with weddings and documenting all kinds of people and their stories through photography. I started Stephanie Rose Photography way back in 2009, and have been immersed in the wedding world ever since. In 2012, I earned my BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in fine art photography from the University of North Texas.
In May of 2023, I became a mama to my first baby, so I'm currently navigating this new and beautiful chapter of motherhood. I’m a peaceful, open-minded, and joy-filled person who strives to see the beauty in life and the people around me.

My Shooting Style
I’m a hands-on photographer who loves to guide and collaborate. I’ll absolutely direct you and have tons of posing ideas ready to go so that you don’t feel lost, but I also believe in keeping things natural, candid and fun. (And yes, sometimes I peek at my Pinterest board if I need a little fresh inspiration—real talk!)
I like to ask questions, get to know your story, how you met, what you love doing together, the little things that make your relationship you. Expect some laughs, maybe a few silly prompts, and definitely some goofball moments on my end. My goal is to create an experience that feels fun and relaxed!
I’m always chatting and giving feedback throughout the session, no awkward silence here! I love playing feel-good music to match the vibe and help you feel at ease. My sessions aren’t rushed or rigid. I take my time, walk and explore with my clients, and let the environment and lighting inspire the flow. I’m drawn to beautiful, natural light and moments that feel genuine.

For engagement sessions and other portrait shoots, my turnaround time is typically around 2 weeks.
Weddings take a bit more time due to the volume of images — you can expect to receive your full online gallery within 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the season and workload.I personally hand-edit every image to ensure consistency and quality. I don’t outsource editing because creating your final gallery is one of my favorite parts of the process. I truly appreciate your patience as I give your photos the care they deserve!

For sessions it's $150, which is applied towards the session fee. For weddings, it's 25% of the finalized package price.

Fairly soon after getting engaged. If you love my work, then you will need to make sure I'm available as soon as you can. I hate letting down couples when telling them I'm already booked for their big day. In the past, I've even had some totally awesome clients base their wedding date around my schedule…I’m so very grateful for that. But also, there are times when I’ve been able to book totally last minute weddings. Just reach out!

I'm MORE than willing to travel anywhere in the world. I have this dream of photographing a wedding in every state of the USA. So far I've had the opportunity of photographing in California, New York, Maine, Rhode Island, Arizona, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and even Jamaica!

If it looks like it's going to rain, it might be best best to reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule, we may need to have a backup location that’s indoors. However, if you're not afraid to get a little wet, bring some cute rain boots and an adorable umbrella for some dreamy and romantic images in the rain. BUT if there is potential for severe weather, we will definitely need to reschedule as I do not want to risk my couples or myself! I hate tornado season y'all.

I use an incredible online gallery service where you will have the ability to download your images to your phone and computer, order prints or a canvas, design a custom heirloom album, etc! I do offer USB’s as an add-on.

Could depend on how many clothing looks you bring, but they usually can last between an hour and a half to two hours. Time tends to fly (because they are so fun). We end when I feel like we got a lot of 'goodies'.

I photograph weddings, elopements and sessions like engagement, bridal, family, maternity, newborn as well as lifestyle/promotional shoots for bloggers and other businesses.

I will send your online invoice via FreshBooks along with your online contract and an invite to fill out my client questionnaire.

"Nothing can be learned in this world unless you have the humility to learn" - Geeta Iyengar. This is a quote that I live by! I'm always striving better my craft and myself. Education doesn't end once you graduate from school, life is a never-ending learning experience. I've attended workshops from JVS Creative, The Glow Workshop with Amanda Marie and Shalyn Nelson, and most recently, a storytelling workshop with Jonas Peterson. I'm definitely planning on attending more in the future! There are some awesome workshops out there.

I've been asked this question MANY times! If I were to offer a workshop, it would be one-on-one based, and catered to the individual. If you’re a photographer and are interested, feel free to reach out!
