intimate backyard wedding in Arlington // Lane & Jon
I have a soft spot in my heart for home weddings. They're just so intimate and sweet! Last year, Lane and Jon managed to pull off a pretty epic celebration as they transformed Lane's parents backyard into beautiful space worthy of celebrating with their closest family and friends. I thought it was just so sweet and meaningful as Lane got ready in the very room she grew up in. The bride and groom wanted to wait until the ceremony to see one another, but Lane opted to have a first look moment with her dad and brother. And golly gee, it was an incredibly sweet moment indeed. They feasted over delicious wood-fired pizza catered by Urban Crust and a chocolate pie lovingly made by Lane's grandmother. 'Barr' is Jon's last name, so you may notice some cute references in these images. I thought it was funny how they needed to hide the rooster in the garage so that he would be quiet. Being a chicken owner myself, I just tickled to photograph for fellow chicken lovin' owners! I just adored all of the meaningful touches this wedding had. Love simply permeated the air.
