A Skyline Surprise: Jackson & Rylee’s Romantic Rooftop Proposal at Catbird Dallas

There’s something so magical about a surprise proposal. Jackson planned a picture-perfect evening to ask Rylee the biggest question of their lives together. It began at Catbird, a chic rooftop spot in Downtown Dallas that offers stunning views of the city. I got to play the part of sneaky photographer as I captured a few quiet moments of the couple inside Catbird while they met up for what Rylee thought was just a casual drink.

As they made their way outside to the patio, I slipped out ahead of them and took my place at the proposal spot. Backed by the lovely skyline, Jackson dropped to one knee, and Rylee said yes! After the big moment, we took a few pics of the newly engaged couple, capturing all the joy, laughter, and love radiating off of them. But the night wasn’t over yet.

Still riding the high of the proposal, Rylee had no idea what was coming next: a surprise engagement party filled with their closest family and friends. Jackson had thought of everything! The celebration that followed was full of hugs, happy tears, and the kind of joy that you never forget. I feel so honored to have been there to capture such a meaningful chapter in their story.
